Since I was a young apprentice, I dreamt of having my own Atelier to craft jewellery that could be passed down from generation to generation. And now, I get to create meaningful pieces of art that become family heirlooms.

Born into an Armenian family Najib Chakian sought out to become a master jeweller at a very young age, travelling alone as a teenager to find work at other fine jewellery workshops and learning the tricks of the trade throughout the early 1980’s. Chakian has stayed steady in his work mastering his skills over the duration of 30+ years eventually arriving in Melbourne Australia in 2009 where he created his own workshop on Collins Street in the CBD. Today Najib operates his atelier with his first born son Shant Chakian as the two spend countless hours perfecting your special piece.
